Woke up and the rain had stopped! Praise sweet 6lb4oz baby Jesus! We discovered as we got up however that we had somehow acquired a mouse in Albert over night (well Sarah thought we had) so we emptied all our stuff out of Albert and found no mouse, we then reloaded Albert with all our stuff and I went into the glove box to get the map and the bloody mouse jumped over my hand and into a hole in the glove box straight into the dash board! This of course got my man mode engaged and I fashioned an old school mouse trap and left it in the car whilst we went to use some computers, I managed to sort out my USA visa which was pretty decent and after we had a wonder around town we returned to the car and I was saddened as my mouse trap was unsuccessful! We presumed that the mouse had hopped ship and we were all good to go! We stopped by the marina for a cheeky water top up then made our way to the hot pools as we were a bit achy from the Tongariro crossing, we spent a couple hours in the hot pools till hunger set in and the three of us left, we hopped in Albert and drove back to the free campsite where we cooked dinner and chatted for a while before deciding to got into bed, we fell asleep fairly early due to being super relaxed from the hot pools!
