Our Aussie adventure
This was a very interesting day the landscape changed so many times.
We travelled through flood plains, food plantation areas, over bridges on dry rivers, low hill ranges, barren land and areas with many ant hills.
I think the highlight of the day was Shothole Canyon. It was a 13 km drive into the canyon on a dirt road and through dry creek beds. The landrover did well. Then a 13 km drive back out.
We then drove 18 km up the road to Exmouth which is built on totally flat land.
We had a lovely surpise. Our room had been upgraded.
