Jonny woke up around 630 am and needed the toilet so got Nick out of bed. The two of them decided to walk the beach instead of going back to bed and Anna and Katharine joined them so Matty was able to sleep on until 730 am - a first for him!! The outdoor area was all wet when I eventually got up and apparently our water hose had come loose around 430 am and woken our neighbours who had got up and turned off our tap. Nick and I had slept through everything!! We had coffee and breakfast looking at the ocean and decided on a day around the camp. We spent the morning doing school work expecting it to be a really hard slog as the kids had had a few days off but they all did really well - I think they'd missed the routine. We had a long walk along the beach before lunch and then spent the afternoon relaxing with a book while the kids played in their camp kitchen. Then we had another long walk along the beach so that we could eat cheese and biscuits before dinner! Nick cooked some chorizo on the BBQ but the kids polished it all off before we'd even sat down - their tastes have developed a lot since we've been away. As it got dark the mosquitoes came out so we ate dinner inside and then watched a bit of TV before bed. Although the kids were reluctant to go to bed they all fell asleep instantly!
