Everyone was awake by 7 am. It was another beautiful day so we had our last coffee watching the ocean then began to pack up the van. We were on the road by 830 am and took the trip very slowly as Noosa was only two hours away. We found the caravan park easily which is just north of Noosa in Tewantin. There is a playground here and a swimming pool so the kids are happy. They shot off to play in the playground while we set up and they soon met a couple of other kids. We had lunch and then went off to explore in the car. This whole area is a mass of rivers, canals and lakes and we drove through one pretty suburb after another. All of them had amazing looking restaurants, shops and parks and they all looked really busy. There were people and cars everywhere. We drove through Noosaville to Noosa Heads and tried to find a park to access Noosa Main Beach but it was wall to wall traffic - turns out the Jazz Festival is on at the moment!! We drove around to Sunshine Beach and bought coffee and ice creams from the surf club before having a walk along the beach. There were a few people swimming but the current was a bit strong for the kids and the large blue jellyfish on the shore put them off too! We drove down the coast as far as Coolum checking out the multiple beaches along the way before turning round and heading back to Tewantin. We had a quick look around the town and bought some groceries before heading home. Once back, the kids shot off to find their new friends while we cooked dinner and they were very reluctant to come home! Bedtime couldn't come soon enough as they were all too excitable and very loud in our small tin can. Luckily they fell asleep quite quickly and Nick and I could carry on watching GoT!!
