York is such a beautiful small country town rich in history, being the first established town in WA in 1831. The main street in York has several beautiful historic buildings in particular the Town Hall looks stunning with a big clock tower above. On Saturday evening the town put on a Christmas Party for all the children, that was set up in the local park and free of charge. There were rides, slides, a bucking bull ride and a huge jumping castle, Lochie had an awesome time! York also has a strong motoring history with a Motor Museum in the main street displaying some very unique and rare cars and motorbikes, it was an awesome collection! York also produces wheat and high quality hay for export, it's an amazing little place. We will stay here for a few days getting the Zuki sorted and then travel south of Perth and we plan to return to York after Christmas to see Kellie's sister Julianne.
