How quickly things can change!

Overnight we had a very big storm, with heavy rain, high winds that rocked our caravan and the lightening and thunder was amazing! When we woke up in the morning it was still raining and our caravan was sitting in a 30cm deep lake lapping the door step! We decided to talk to the manager about moving and he told me that he had not seen the park flood like this in the nine years he has been there. We packed up in the rain as quickly as possible and moved our van to a higher site. I had decided to leave some of our wet outdoor items on top of our outdoor table at our flooded site for collection later, while I set up the van at our new site about 200m away. I returned ten minutes later to find some grubs going through our stuff and walking off with Lochie's bike, unbelievable!! Thieving opportunists!

We found that this park had lots of flies and Mosquitos so sitting outside was unfortunately a bit unpleasant so the two nights stay was more than enough. Our next stop will be Busselton and hopefully better weather.
