Really sorry about another upside down photo so for those who can't turn their computer screens upside down, this is Roger next to a famous sculpture on the Camino. This is about 10 miles outside Pamplona on a mountain ridge with amazing views both east back to Pamplona and west over Navarre. The grazing cattle and fast streams of the basque area now changing into olive trees and vines. It was 30 degrees today and blazing sunshine and we walked about 25 kms. . Chris has told me to man up but parts of me really hurt and I have a most attractive heat rash on my ankles, calves and thighs. Maybe tomorrow's photos if it's not cleared up. For those who have seen more pics of Facebook there is one of a v ancient Japanese couple who are doing a tortoise and hare walk. Everyday we overtake them but the next day they are always ahead of us. Allegedly they are 84 and 79 but their ages seem to alter each day. Tonight we are in a hotel rather than a hostel but will return to the simple life of the shared dormitory soon. There was an all you can eat buffet tonight......Roger's favourite kind of meal, fingers are the only part of me that is not tired. But even they're fading x

Mary Glad you are so enjoying it! Hope the body will soon adapt. Bon courage. X
Albert Smith Safe journey Isobel. Let the rash pass. When things feel really tough remember: all you have to keep doing is put one foot in front of the other. Please don't come back as a Born Again! I don't want to be crossing the street to dodge you in October.
Jan We walked from the fishermans car park to soli house today and talked about you and your expedition all the way there and back. You are brave souls - we were exhausted after 3 miles!!
