A trip to Disneyworld for us is not a trivial exercise. Living in Sydney means living 24 hours of flying away from Disneyworld, it also means a lot of expense. This holiday is our third trip to Disneyworld but it is our first time using a planner/concierge service to organise the Disneyworld part of our trip. In the past we have done all the planning ourselves but with Disneyworld expanding and becoming increasingly popular we recognised that we needed help to get the most out of your trip.

For us and I suspect many families, Disneyworld is more than a holiday or trip. Disneyworld is memories, precious ones for us. When you entrust your Disneyworld trip to someone it is more than organising a schedule, it is trusting someone with your future memories, and that is some responsibility, one we did not take lightly.

I have for some time followed WDW Planners on Instagram, I love Colleen's posts, she on a daily basis reminds me of the magic of Disneyworld and triggers some wonderful memories. So when it came to deciding who best to plan our trip, Colleen was an obvious choice. Colleen was amazing to work with, she took time to understand our family, our likes and dislikes. As a family we are very active, on average for this trip we did 20,000 to 25,000 steps a day and that was for 2 weeks. So we are always on the move and looking to make the most of our time here. Colleen made sure we did the attractions we wanted to do and multiple times. What we also loved was Colleen's suggestions around lunch and dinner, she organised reservations to a number of restaurants and gave us the opportunity to try some park icons that we didn't even know about. We also loved moving between parks, in the past we would stay at one park each day. Colleen suggested changing parks during the day and this mixed it up a bit for us and was a new way to tackle the parks.

The trip pack we received from Colleen was professionally put together and really put us in the mood for Disneyworld. We were given a full sized itinerary and a smaller version we could take to the parks. Colleen also added some fun elements to our pack for the kids.

At this stage I know what you are thinking … we are not the "organised tour" kind of people. Well our family is the poster child for 'do it your way'. However Colleen made our itinerary to suit us and the evidence is the fact that we stuck to the itinerary 98%, we only deviated for a couple of small things.

Above all else Colleen throughout our time at Disneyworld was in contact with us. Colleen is genuinely interested in sharing the Disney magic and she is no longer 'just' a planner, she has become a friend of our family.

So if you want someone who is passionate about Disneyworld, passionate about you and highly knowledgeable, I cannot recommend Colleen and WDW Planners enough.
