Today we originally planned for a quieter day being the last day of Disney. Of course our holidays are anything other than quiet. So we headed early for Hollywood Studios. We arrived around 8am. For fun we thought we would try and enrol into a group for the Rise of the Resistance ride. When we got group 142 we laughed, we thought there is no way that group will be called. More about this later ...

We did some last minute shopping at Hollywood Studios, we also sent some things home to Australia from the park. We now headed to Disney Springs.

We wanted to try every kind of Disney transport. So we have done the buses, yesterday we did the Ferry between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. So today we started by taking the Skyliner Gondola from Hollywood Studios to Epcot ... we then took a bus to Port Orleans Resort and then another bus to Disney Springs, our final destination. Isabelle and Loic were not impressed with this crazy idea Olivier and I had.

Anyway at Disney Springs we did this VR Challenge at the VOID. This was way cool. Basically you are put into a vitrual reality Star Wars scenario ... it was heaps of fun and we would do it again in a heart beat.

We had lunch at the Irish Pub before setting off on our next transport quest. So from Springs we took a bus to the Polynesian Resort and picked up the Monorail from there and headed into Epcot. Realising we were running out of time we took a cab from Epcot to Hollywood Studios just in time to do a Fast Pass for Toy Story Mania.

Toy Story Mania is crazy fun, shooting stuff and getting points, especially great for such a competitive family like ours. Sadly Isabelle won, I put this down to a software glitch.

Next Fats Pass was for Muppet Vision 3D. We have seen this every trip since 2013. It does not get old ... we loved it and it reminded me why I loved the muppets when I was a kid.

So two Fast Passes down and now the fun begins. We see that through some miracle that our group was soon to be called for Rise of the Resistance (ROTR). Dilemna .... do we do our third Fast Pass for Star Tours and risk missing out on ROTR? We decide to proceed to ROTR ... a no brainer. So we get onto the queue for ROTR, all looking good ... we get through the initial part of the ride ... and just as we are about to board the ship the ride fails and we are exited. We were so sad, we were given an immediate Fast Pass for ROTR should the ride be restarted. Given ROTR has been down on previous days and for some time coupled with the time being 6pm and park close is 8pm, we held little hope. So we went and did our Star Tours Fast Pass. We went back to ROTR and to our surprise we were able to get back on and complete the ride. What a great way to finish our trip, doing the ride we loved the most for a second time.

We ended the night with a dinner at Brown Derby and watching part of the Star Wars show. What a great trip this has been and it has definitely reinforced our love for Disney, Orlando and Theme Parks.

Tomorrow is a rest day but as you suspect, that does not mean we will be lying around.
