Didier Moutia's Travels
Today we were VIPs! We got an official tour guide just for us.
Our tour guide is Liz and she is a marine biologist from New York. She took us around the park, got us VIP seats at all the shows, she got us to feed the animals and also even arranged our food.
Having a VIP is "FANTASMIC!!!"
First thing we got a photo with some random character. Dad told us it was "Shamu". Who is Shamu? I only found out later!
Next I wanted to check the roller coasters. I am sad ... there are two roller coasters but I could not ride them because I am too short. Dad rode them and gave his review.
Manta is a ride where you are on your stomach for the whole ride. Dad gives it 10 Oliviers out of 10. The Kraken is another big ride but Dad reckons this is worth 9 Oliviers out of 10.
Then Liz took us to feed the seals. We got to go around the back were no one was allowed except the people who work at Seaworld.
It was hard feeding the seals, the birds kept trying to steal the food we threw at the seals. I kept telling the birds I hated them!
Now for our first show. Now I know who Shamu is!!! The screens on top of the stage kept distracting me. The show was fantastic. The best bit of the show was the whales splashing people. Some people got soaked.
After the show we went and fed the Stingrays. Liz taught us how to feed the rays. It felt like a vacuum as they sucked up the prawns and squid. The rays felt very soft and slimy.
We had lunch then we visited the pearl tank. A diver went down and grabbed an oyster and we opened it to see a pearl. The woman told us it was the third rarest pearl. We gave it to mum as a present.
Then we went to the seal show. It was really really funny. Before the show there was a mime clown who picked on people as they came into the stadium. I loved the seal show, it was really funny.
Afterwards we quickly visited the Aquarium before Liz took us to feed and pat the Dolphins. Feeding and patting the Dolphins was the best experience EVER! We even got photos taken by a photographer.
After we fed the Dolphins we said goodbye to Liz and spent the rest of the day on rides.
