Didier Moutia's Travels
We have done all the parks so today the kids had a choice of which Disney Park they wanted to revisit.
Our original plan this morning was as follows:
1. In the morning return to Disney Hollywood Studios and do the Buzz Lightyear Ride, Star Tours and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
2. In the afternoon head to EPCOT and do the Test Track attraction again.
3. At night head to Disney's Magic Kingdom and watch the closing show.
None of this went to plan.
We spent the day at Hollywood Studios. Ironically we did exactly the same two years ago. Seems we love this park and it is a favourite for all of us.
We again did the Buzz Lightyear Ride, Star Tours (3 times) and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. We also watched the stunt show which we did not get to at our last visit. The stunt show is well worth the effort. Originally this show was created at Paris Disney. The show has plenty of car stunts and like the Indiana Jones ride gives you an understanding of what happens behind the scenes to create some of those great car chases we all love.
We had a bite to eat at the Sci-fi drive in. We had no idea what we were in for. We thought it was just a diner. What a surprise. This diner replicates a drive in from the 1950s. Cars are used as restaurant tables. We all loved those crazy old sci-fi movies they made in the 1950s which showed on the main screen. What a great discovery!
The highlight of the day for the boys was the "Public Works" street performers. The kids loved them so much that we started stalking their shows around the park. I have not seen the kids laugh so much in so long.
At the end of the day the kids were not so keen on going to Magic Kingdom for the closing show, so we headed back to the resort for some swimming and arcade action.
A great end to a great holiday.
