Day 26- Rest Day SF-
Woke to 3 other people in room at Hostel. All from France. 7:30 hostel provided light breakfast and coffee. Then sat down to look at our schedule for next week and a half...when planning I did not take into account we would be pulling and carrying 45 plus pounds! So trying to adjust to a more realistic plan!!!! We then started walking..seemed like miles... to Mikes Bike Shop. Found some "Nuun", and other stuff, Fran found bike shorts she needed. Had coffee and muffin ($8.plus)
This is SF! Then caught the bus to return to Bay Street... Took us all through down town, wharf, and piers. Hungry - stopped at good burger place..
"In and Out", perfect and cheap! Back relaxing at Hostel...blue sky showing..still windy and cold! Where is this warm weather everyone says is in California???? Next pack, be really to leave in morning. Fog or wind!!!!

Johnny ah San Francisco, one of my favorite cities !! Day 26...... only 14 more to go, I don't know who is happier George or your butt ! :) We head off today for our vacation, keep pedaling, it is all down hill from there (once out of San Fran) , enjoy the last portion of the ride, you have once again amazed us all ! Where is it, there it is that big smile of yours, lighting up the California coast line ! Love you, Johnny, Gayle, Tyler and Cori !!
Margaret McArthur Almost there now but I guess it doesn't.' seem it too you. We are so proud of you. You are just like the energized bunny. I guess you have heard by now that Steven proposed to Emma. Marilyn Stopped organizing for awhile & had to see where you are now. Wow girl....you made it to the City by the Bay.....fantastic. Hope your ride takes you through Carmel and Santa Barbara. The old mission in S.B. is beautiful. Keep pedaling, you'll find some warm weather yet!! Marilyn & Steve
