Day 21- August 31- Fort Bragg Rest Day!! What a nice rest day. Early breakfast courtesy of motel. Then short walk to Old Town. Visited some art shops, glass place, Safeway for provisions. Annual gem and glass show, got new time on Phone card. Picked up bikes from "Fort Bragg Cyclery", reasonable and great service. Day 20- 50miles- August 30 Redwoods Resort, Leggett to Fort Bragg. Tiring day, must learn to stop more often. Up early- right onto highway, not many services. 4 miles up the road came to the only place open, Peg House, good breakfast burrito and coffee. Took Shoreline route #1 over two mountains and down to fog and coast. Crazy road (pic) no shoulders but heard the surf and saw bits of the coast through fog.
