Day 23- September 2- 68 miles
Manchester Beach to Bodega Dunes
So cold waking up to loud sound of pounding surf. Quickly dressed and packed - on road. At Point Arena stopped to warm up and have breakfast.
Foggy all day. No shoulders, more ups and downs. Passed historic Fort Ross( built by Russians and Eskimos). Lots of parks and look out points but could only hear the ocean below. Long weekend, crazy busy traffic with no shoulders and several cattle guards to walk carefully over. Even climbed higher than the fog, looked like puffy white quilt. Hard day. BUT WE DID IT!!
