We went for a drive over to Eco Beach. Had to drive back out to the hwy and then the turnoff was only a few km's up the highway. We signed in as day visitors to the Eco beach resort. Looked nice heaps of luxury tents and villas on the hills above echo beach.
An older couple let us share their shade shelter down on the beach. Caleb and Ben were keen to hit the waves again. I was happy to hang with Zane whilst he played in the shallow water.
I took Zane for a swim down in the water when I spotted a shade shelter with 2 hammocks was spare so I was off. Signaled to Kylie and Archie to join Zane and I. Was very relaxing swinging in the hammock. Had a nice time with our bubs. The guys were building sandcastles with Indi and Sean until the kids spotted us and came over to enjoy the swinging.
We ended up showering up after our swim into some dry clothes and headed upstairs to Jacks bar and restaurant. Nice view over Eco Beach. We ordered some cocktails which were a little strong and small for $15 each. We enjoyed a yummy entree of cheese boards, buffalo wings and salt and pepper calamari. All were delicious. Kids enjoyed their fish n chips, and gaz and I went halves each in a beef burger and an open chicken sandwich with Camembert and plum sauce which were yum. The wine went down much better than the cocktail too :)
Kids got to have ice cream and by the end of our meal we were all very full. Was suprised too that the kids meals were free.
5 mins in the car and our boys were all out to it. Back to camp to start packing up to head off to Broome the next morning.
Kylie did some wraps for the kids for dinner and the adults flagged tea since we were still full from lunch.
