Well what can I say......another awesome beautiful place. I know you guys are probably sick of hearing about our tough life ATM but I'm sorry life is too good not to share.
Woke up looking over the orange cliffs to the beautiful Indian Ocean. It's very hard to take :)
Kylie and I took the bubs in the pram and the big kids for a walk, so the guys could set up camp a bit more. Was great to have a look around. Then later the guys took the kids for a ride on their bikes in the arvo and went swimming in the rock pools.
We've now been here for 3 days and have decided to stay the weekend too and head off Monday now. It's very relaxing here. We've managed to do a bit of school work, played lots of different games, bike riding, nibbles and drinks once again and some awesome swimming.
The second day we loaded up with the shade tents, surf riders and went for a walk down the cliff to the beach. The guys were helping Caleb and Ben ride the waves on their surf riders. Although I'm pretty sure that Garry and Shaun were having more fun riding the waves than the boys.
It was my turn to have a quick dip and I ended up getting turned around like I was in a washing machine. Each time I went to get up the undercurrent would get me and another wave would also get me much to the amusement of Kylie and Garry who were in hysterics watching me. P.S mum there was no fear of me drowning!
Now that I had half the beach in my bathers I decided to go back to playing with Sean and Zane. The waves had come up over the sand hill and made a little shallow pool wading area on the other side. Ideal for the little kids and me to swim in :)
I had such a nice time playing with the kids. Very relaxing and Zane and I got to have some good chill time together. By the time we had walked back to camp Zane had fallen asleep in the backpack.
After we got back and got the kids sorted and lunch done the guys played some board games with the kids.
I went and had the best heavenly shower ever. You should have seen how much beach I had bought back with me :) The showers are corrugated iron walls with no roof. There's just something about an open air shower to feel awesome. I had Garry circling around like a shark as they're unisex showers and he was thinking yeeha.
Took the kids for another icy pole and we had a kick back arvo. Then nibbles and drinks watching the sunset again. The best sunsets!! Nothing beats the sunsets in the west.
We managed to play phase 10 again and a few drinks. That's 2 nights in a row of cards......definitely in holiday mode now.
Went to the same beach this morning. Had fun once again but the kids were a little bit rattier this morning so it's back to camp now for a sleep for everyone. I'm in my camper with all the rest of the perfects out to it whilst I catch up on blogging and am about to read some more of my book. The plan is off to the rock pools this arvo and some more fresh fish for dinner :)
