More swimming, sandcastles, boogie boarding, bikes, fishing, nibblies, beers, wines :) did I mention swimming, beers, wines and nibbles.
On Friday we took a drive out to Five fingers. Ben liked to call it fish fingers. Was a great spot once again our own deserted little beach. Not as sheltered as the last spot so there were some good waves for the kids. Maddie and Ben made the most of the waves with their surf riders like boogie boards. Sean was more interested in going for a walk with Dusty and Amy to collect shells and starfish. And Zane enjoyed the sand again. The poor Brady's missed out again as Caleb still wasn't well.
On Saturday kylie and I got the chance to head out with all of the girls on a sunset cruise. Was a great afternoon. Got some great photos although bit of a buggar the best pics were whilst they were rushing us off the boat. Needed another half hour on the boat. Drinks went down so well on the boat that we decided to see how good the drinks would go down at the pub. Surprisingly just as good at the pub :) great night with a great bunch of gals.
Sunday we headed off to Exmouth for a drive and stock up on supplies. Poor kylie had now come down sick so the Brady's stayed behind. Had a nice lunch at the Pot Shot Hotel by the pool.
Monday the blokes got to go fishing and had another good day. We hung with the kids and did the beach thing :)
Tuesday hold on the blokes got to go fishing again. They did well bagged out on Red emperor by 10.30. Still didn't see them until the arvo though.
I took my boys on the submarine boat. Was no easy feat as I had Zane in Kylie's sling that I borrowed. Bag full of our beach stuff so we could go swimming straight after. And it was a fair hike to the boat carrying my little Buddha :) the boys loved the boat and enjoyed feeding the fish.
Had a yummy feed of fresh fish for tea that the guys cooked up, thanks Rusty and co!
Wednesday the big boys took the kids out fishing on the boat. They had a ball and all managed to catch a fish or more. Ben got a double header a Tomato cod and a Red throat and Sean caught a red throat. Poor Sean was sick on the boat. Once again thanks Rusty for letting Lynchy take your boat out with the kids.
In the arvo it was the girls turn to escape without the kids for a bit to the beach. Was lovely to sit back, relax and have a chat with Claire and Kylie. Then I got to stay and read my book for a bit so I was very happy!!!
