First up we went out to Zebedee Springs again for a few hours. Was nice kicking back in the water. Was like being in a big warm bath. Was a bit more refreshing and cooler being wet when we got out.
After there we went 4WD for a while. Was thinking of you Chris Tierney whilst doing some of the tracks that you'd love it up here. First we went out to Brancos look out trying to spot the 5 meter crock that had been spotted the day before. And some silly people were swimming there the day before. No croc sighting but beautiful scenery!
Then it was off to saddleback ridge track which the guys had already done but they wanted to show us the views. Was a very steep switch back track as Gaz had said. Wow the views from the top were fantastic!
Then it was back to camp for some leftovers and a swim. We started getting ready early for the end of year party that they were holding. We wanted to make sure we got a good table. We were all up there by 4.30 and I don't think anyone else arrived until 6 so we might have been over keen. But hey it was nice to chill and have a few drinks in the shade with a nice breeze. Kids were having a ball running around on the grass area. The wines were going down really well. They did a big BBQ buffet for dinner which was nice. The ladies from the day before bought us a bottle of wine for helping them out which was very nice of them. Once we had eaten the wines slowed right down and I think around 9ish we decided to take the kids home.
The guys went back up and ended up partying until around 3 in the morning. We had a hot night in the van as something was wrong with the battery and it kept tripping out so no fan. It was like sleeping on an electric blanket.
