The guys got to go Helifishing first up this morning. They were excited and so was I for them. They got to fly over all the gorges, the El Questro homestead and went fishing in the Pentecost and the Durrack Rivers. Gaz caught 1 and a half barramundi. The first one the pilot hooked and he got to play it in. Then he caught another one. Amazing to see the photos of them and a helicopter at the bottom of a gorge fishing.
Kylie and I took the kids swimming at the water hole in front of the restaurant as it was very hot again.
We went and had lunch again at the steakhouse for lunch when the guys got back.
That arvo the Brady's went and did their boat cruise and we went for a swim out at Moonshine Gorge. On the way out of the station there was 2 ladies that were worried about taking their car through the water. So I jumped out and Gaz did a couple of trips in with them and then the staff told them they'd be ok to drive through so Gaz bought one of them back out. That was our good deed for the day.
Moonshine gorge was awesome. Less than a 2 min walk from the car and a big beautiful swimming hole, and we were luck to be the only ones there. Gaz and Ben were enjoying diving to the bottom where the water was really cold.
Gaz and I attempted our first camp fire cook up for dinner. We stuffed some chicken breasts, wrapped them in bacon and then once they had browned a bit added in the parmy style sauce and sprinkled with cheese. Then once fully cooked cut the breasts up and served over pasta. We wer very happy with our first attempt.
