This is abit late, but better late than never!! after i wrote my last blog at the airport i was shoved into the corner of the airport with everyone else waiting and locked there until 3am. it was to keep everyone together as it isnt a 24hr airport. i slept until 3am where i went and checked in before getting on the flight. all was well and before i new it i was in dubia (well, 17hours later that is!) i stepped off the plane to a blankegt of heat around me. turns out it was only 32degs but it was soo clammy. (i say only as when kez got there it was 50dges!) from there i got a rip off taxi man to take me to the bus stop and then got on the bus to abu dhabi. i say rip off taxi man as the 2hr bus journey was 6dirham (£1) and the 20min taxi ride was 100dirham!! when i arrived i got a taxi to kerrys and relaxed! i was pretty... tiered and so just chilled for a few hours beofre heading out to a club for a few drinks. well it was more than a few, we got back at half1. i didnt mind but kerry was up at half5 for work!!

Thursday i chilled all day while kerry worked then when she got back we had a few drinks at her appartment with a couple of her friends (mandy from america and nicole from canada( nicole is a boy!!)) we then hit the town and had a big night as over there the weekend begins on a thursday night, is all fri and sat and the back to work on sun!

Friday we got up early for some reason and headed to cole and mandys for a bailys latte before heading to a buffet lunch. over there they have them alot and its £40 all u can eat all u can drink. well, i had a roast chicken dinner followed by alot of beer. i was in bed by half 6!! the others went out after that but i was too tired and had had enough to drink.

Sat kez and me skyped some friends at home and then went to a sports bar to watch the footy. this was great as i hadnt seen much footy in my time in australia and this place showed EVERY game on a different screen! We drank alot and had snacks to eat and enjoyed not doing much! we made some bets on the footy and tagged along with 2 men from england to watch the games so there was some good banter knocking around. Kerry said she wanted to leave straight after the footy as she was tired but on out way back decided she wanted cocktails, and so we didnt get back till the early hours again!!

Sunday i again chilled and packed while kez went to work and then when she got back us two and 2 of her friends went out for a meal before i got my coach back to dubia and headed to the airport. when i got to the airport it took me ages to check in as i was being shoved from pillar to post. turns out this was because they had double booked the flight and i didnt have a seat. this was a midnight ish and my flight was meant to be at 3am. instead i had to wait till 8am which isnt what u want when ur tired and all u want is ur bed!! durin the confussion i latched onto a family (monther, her daughter and her son) as they were the only other white people there and i could see them looking at me. turns out they were wanting to talk to me but were too scared! we waited together which was nice and then eventually got on the flight home. once i landed i got on the train back to arnside (enjoying the great english scenery go past!) until i got home to be greated by mother...
