Went for a bit of a walk and a chat with Julio this morning then headed for Exmouth. The road out is really really rough the corrugations are so bad. About half way we saw a tank track heading off in sort of the way we wanted to go. We followed that for awhile then followed a fence line for quite a while, through a couple of gates basically following two wheel tracks that hadn't been used for quite a while all the time wondering if there would be a lock on the gate when we got through to the main Exmouth road. We saw kangaroos and more of the really rough looking black and white sheep. After crawling along for about 30kms we came to a gate and were able to get onto the main road. It was an interesting trip much better than the normal road. Into Exmouth and booked into a caravan park, saw the German girls down the street they are camping at a truck stop about 10k's out. Saw a lady about getting haircuts tomorrow and went to the information centre.
