Checked out Bridgetown this morning, it was interesting as I had done all the research into a Tyre Service we bought here when I was working for Pacific Dunlop.
Went to a Blessing of the Roads function for Easter safety held in the Memorial Park. Really good to see the school kids sing a Jesus song for the gathering, three churches were represented.
Then moved on to a little place called Green Bushes, a town revolving around a mine, originally tin now Tantalum.
Then through to Balingup, it looks like this town lives off tourism, features colorful scarecrows as you drive through, there are some interesting shops.
We have stopped for the night at Balingup Transit Camp, a camp around the oval $16.00 with showers, a nice spot quite a number of others here.
