Started the day off with a wee bit of a lie in followed by a bite to eat, we then hopped in Albert and headed just out of town to the zorbing, We all wanted to do the dry zorbing as the weather didn't really get us in the mood for getting wet... However Katie was too short so had to go into the wet zorb! We all signed in and were shortly in the truck up the hill and of course I was nominated to go first, so I got into the zorb and got strapped in, when I was all good the chappy shoved me down the hill and I was all over the shop, it was an awesome experience but I didn't know which way was up! I got the end and got out the zorb feeling dizzy as hell, I then watched Katie and Sarah come down and it looked awesome! We had a quick look at the photos but didn't buy any and then headed back to town where I was feeling a bit iffy so chilled out at the hostel for a bit, after a quick bite to eat for lunch we were then picked up for our rafting! We signed a few forms and then after getting kitted up we were on our way to the river were we got a quick briefing and we were first ones in the water! Our guide Jim Bob was awesome and got us straight into the action, we hit up a few rapids and before long came to our first waterfall, 2 metres high so was pretty sweet followed by a 1 metre fall, that was prep work... We then shot through a few more rapids and then came to the real deal, 7 metre waterfall! Biggest commercial rafting waterfall in the world! We had a quick brief and got our paddles in the water and shot off the waterfall, our raft went pretty much onto its side and almost tipped but we managed to hold on! We watched all the other rafts come down and everyone made it, after a few more rapids we were at the end and carried the rafts to the bus, we then got back to the shop and got changed and got the photos as they were awesome! We then went back to town and got showered and made a bangers and mash whilst having a few drinks, later in the night we headed across the road to lava bar where we watched zorb sumo which was hilarious! One guy burst through the barrier and bowled Katie and a guy over, the guy had half a jug of beer which Katie was wearing... Hilarious but a bit of a mare! We had a few drinks in the bar and headed back to another hostel from one of the guys we met rafting, had another drink or two there an had a maccys for a midnight snack before heading back to hostel and Albert for a long awaited sleep!
