Work up early today as we had our drive to Milford Sounds to do which would take us the best part of 5 hours.. We left the camp by 9am after a bit of faffing and started our trip to Milford, we had a couple hour drive listening to old school classics and singing along as best we could, we then stopped in Te Anua for lunch in their picnic area and filled up Albert with some more juice! We then hit the road and after a while pulled over just before a tunnel to take a few snaps and let all the faster cars go in front.. After the tunnel and another short drive we arrived in Milford and hit up 2 of the short walks and went to see where we had to check in for our cruise! When we were all set we ventured off back up the hill and through the tunnels to the camping area and cooked up some grub! When we were full we had a quick clean up and then the 3 of us had a catch up with our diary/blogs, we were going to try and get away without paying but then a ranger turned up and we had to fork over some cash :( to make it worse it was bloody freezing tonight so I retired to the camper a bit early to finish my blog as I was losing the feelings in my fingers! We decided to set up bed a bit early tonight to beat the cold, plus we had to be up early to get back to Milford for our boat trip around the lake!
