We woke up to a beautiful sunny day and sat outside and had coffee looking at the ocean. As everyone was awake we decided to go for a long walk down the beach before breakfast and walked as far as the river inlet where there was a mass of enormous bats hanging in the trees lining the river. By the time we got home the wind had picked up and it was quite chilly. The kids didn't care though, so after breakfast we hit the beach for the morning. I didn't last too long and came home and watched them all from the van. Everyone else came home at lunchtime and we spent the afternoon doing schoolwork. The kids worked really hard, especially on their times tables, and earnt $2 each to spend in the lolly shop across the road. We tried to go for another walk before dinner but the wind was reallu unpleasant so we gave up. We had dinner and showers and the kids spent the evening playing Lego while I spent the evening sitting in the car chatting to Mum!
