Our night in Roncesvalles was good.... Ear plugs and wine and I slept through a guy falling out of the top bunk and a whole lot of snoring and apparently the two guys sharing the two bunk cubby with mom and i got the giggles!! Lights on at 630 and wide awake and got ready !!! We bought fruit from a vending machine for breakfast!! Off we went... There was no meandering today we are still in the hills.... We planned for cafe in burgete but it was so busy so we decided to go to the next town.... We walked through a farm it was so green and the fog in the hills is imprinted in my mind....horses, sheep and cows oh my!! We climbed a BIG hill up and down into another valley to a small town called Espinal and found a bar for some cafe and a small shop where we bought some food for lunch... Then off we went again up up up and down down and then up up up to bizkarreta where we had picnic for lunch then found a bar for more cafe and rest our feet !! We continued on to lintzoain and started walking up.... We had done 13 kms and mom was done.... We rang a bell on a random house and asked them to call a taxi.... That was interesting.... I left my mom sitting on a bench not really sure a taxi was coming or not but I had faith.... We had walked 13kms there was still 9 to go... It was a good thing she took the taxi... The last bit was 6 kms up into mountain and 3 kms down of mud I may of slid most of it.... It was a peaceful walk by myself and extremely beautiful.... There were parades of catepillars and some of them did really nice formations... I took pics for I think y'all might think I have lost my mind talking about caterpillars On parade!!! I passed a memorial where a 64 yr old Japanese person had passed away....took a moment to pay respects and was on my way.... Met my mom at the albergue and she had a bunk for me.... Yeah!! We got to real laundry tonight so my mud covered pants are clean!! I literally had to will one foot in front of the other at the end..... Two really hard days in a row.. Am heading out to a pilgrims supper then early to bed!! Supper is done and the funny English blokes filled me with too much wine again.... Good night!!
