Well it was interesting night in the municipal albergue.... Glad to be out of there .... We made some breakfast and had an instant coffee.... Seems to get us through to the first cafe we can find for some cafe con leche....we had a steep walk out of town and then a nice 6 km walk to a small town called alzofra..... The sun coming up over the hills behind us was magical.... The fields were glowing and sooooo very green.... Many pictures taken!! We stopped at a cafe and had our cafe con leche and a sweet bun....sat and talked to a girl from Texas I walked ahead with her for a while and then stopped to wait for mom...as we said goodbye she said the camino is a lot like catch and release...walk with someone for a while and release them as they continue on....mom and I walked on... It was 9km up hill to the next town....I often see the trail ahead as we veer off to the left or right and wonder why we can't just go straight through... Then mom in all her wisdom says.... That is something you will learn... You can't just power straight forward you need to weave and wind and take it all in... If you power forward you will miss out on things along the way....so I kept on weaving and winding.....we had a nice little break.... Shoes off.... Am learning when we sit down for a break it is good to get the shoes off and give the feet a little rub.... Like new again!! Kinda....we walked through less vineyards and more farm fields even canola!! When we reached the top of the hill in Ciruena we were so happy to see the town or what we thought was the town.... There was a golf course and club house.... A round of golf would of been nice if my feet didn't hurt so much...there were all these modern townhouses and apartment buildings.... Felt very out of place.... Learned along the way that it is a resort type place...and the actual town was up and over the hill.....we finally found the albergue and opened the door to Spanish music playing a bird chirping in a cage and a man whistling to the music in an apron cooking.... It was perfect!!! Got all checked in and will have supper here as well as breakfast as there is nothing at all in this town.... I went for a walk after my shower and laundry and found a little bar with a computer to check email but no wifi or weefee as they call it here!! Supper smells amazing and am currently texting some random persons mother who's phone I found.... Hopefully can get it back to them or send it to them somehow.... Supper was amazing a lentil soup with chorizo sausage and bread..... Natural yogurt with fig marmalade.... Bueno!!! Off for a little stroll with mom and then sleepy time...got shat on by a bird on our stroll... Turns out our host is not only a cook but the mayor, the deacon and the tai chi instructor so guess what we all did..... Yup a quick trip to the Church and tai chi in the garden with views of the vineyards and mountains.... Blessed and centered all in 25 minutes .... It was a great day!!
