We had a good sleep in this morning was almost 9 when we actually got out of bed.... We enjoyed the fluffy towels, bath tub and clean sheets and not having to pack up our sleeping bags....The train to ponferrada was not until 230 so we had some more time in Leon... We headed out in search of breakfast and found the best cup of cafe con leche at a chocolate shop/cafe that also happened to serve breakfast.... We headed back to the cathedral because when we were there yesterday we didn't have any change to donate to light candles and there was an altar with a statue of a pregnant woman mom wanted to light a candle at.... So in we went and mom put her donation and 17 candles lit up.... So who ever she was praying for pregnant bellies got lots of prayers this morning!! We made our way to San Marcos plaza mom went in the church and happened upon a palm Sunday mass....reading of the passion in Spanish so she stayed and guess what I did??? Yup... Bench.... Pidgins.... And random photo opps.... We headed over to the train station and had Domino's Pizza for lunch.... We thought it was kinda funny! We got our train and once we arrived we found our way to the bus station....the busses lined up to Santiago were taunting us!!! I think we walk 15kms a day even when we are not on the path.... Mom thinks getting the trains and to buses and all the hustle is pretty cool.... Part of our journey she says.... I look at the map.... Mom wants to ask random ppl who can't speak English.... I follow the map.....and mom says we should ask someone..... The map gets us there!! We got to villafranca late and found the albergue..... They only had top bunks left in this hole of a dorm.... Instant anxiety.... We started unpacking thinking we had no choice I looked on my map and saw there was another albergue up the road.... I went over and they had nicer rooms and bottom bunks.... So I came back and told they host that we wanted to move and they magically produced a small room with a couple of bunk beds that one volunteer stays in.... So he has roommates for the night and mom has a bottom bunk!! And so do I ..... Sweet! A hot shower and sleepy time!!
