Well after the day I had yesterday we decided today would be a good day to take a break... We woke up this morning to find a couple yes two people sleeping in the bunk above mom and no one above me.... We had a giggle and packed up then on our way... We caught the bus and when we were walking down the aisle the bus driver took off and mom missed a step and fell hard into a guy.... She landed on her knee which is ok and hurt a finger while trying to stop the fall....we had a good laugh once we knew she was ok.... Was a lovely drive through the country.... And ended in Logrono...we wandered around in search of coffee and breakfast and we found fried eggs and ham on a bun!!! Mmmm....then we went in search of the Pilgrims Office passing the Cathedral de Santa Maria.... Mom went inside lit some candles and did her thing....the man directed us to a pensione... We have our own room and bathroom and a little balcony overlooking a cute street....we dropped our packs and put on our sandals and became tourists for the day..... Cervesa's in the square lunch next to the cathedral.... Window shopping more churches.... We found the hospital that my moms friend spent time in the last time she walked the Camino.... She went in and said thank you....and it was good for my mom.... We headed back to our room and had a siesta.... Then picnic on the bed of tomatoes cucumbers avocado's pickled white asparagus and oreo cookies fir dessert the door to our balcony open listening to the piano player at the fancy restaurant across the way.... A perfect much needed relaxing day....a stroll through the plaza mercado watching all the families out for stroll getting ice cream..... Back to our room.... Back at it tomorrow early!!
