I have had a couple of busy days and horrible service...well barely any service really last night so I am combining my last two days! Today I am feeling ready to head home and am tired.....I decided to take a short drive out to the east coast and enjoy an afternoon an evening on the beach....I pulled over at a berry farm along the way and came out with the yummiest berry frozen yogurt!!! I found a place called Papamoa Beach....a Camp Site up on a bluff looking out at the ocean. Perfect place to chill out and relax.....I played in the water....walked up and down the beach and collected sea shell...

Left my beautiful green campsite and hit the road towards Rotorua...I had a Maori Hangi cultural evening booked and was pretty excited! Started off the day with intentions of going to a place called Lake Taupo. I headed north and found myself driving for a few hours through green farmland.....I drove through parts of the Tongiriro National Park also known as the desert road! I just sat down to write this blog and out of the corner of my eye I see movement.....bounding as fast as he could a rabbit ripped towards me and right on past me under the fence....there are about 50 school age kids bouncing on one of those big bouncing blow up pillow like things....if I was a rabbit I would be racing as fast as I could away....I on the other had paid for a site here so I can't run....am hoping these kids have a curfew and disappear when it gets...
