Well the night in the monster Albergue was interesting I had a top bunk and they were high up with a tiny ladder on the side but nothing to pull yourself up with.... I was exhausted and frustrated and getting in and out of bed was brutal and not what I needed!!! However I put my ear plugs in and prayed I didn't have to get up in the night for fear I might step on the girl below me head!! I slept well until 530 when everyone started moving... We had breakfast with Pam and Judy who I walked through the pyranees with so it was nice to run into them 12 days later ! I have to admit I have not been in a great head space lately and Greece is sounding better and better each day! I have been a bit cranky and lacking patience with everything and missing a bit of privacy.... Think it is time for a hotel/ pension very soon! Moms ankles are not so well but her will is strong.... My ankles are ok but the will is lacking! We are walking short days and then catching up by bus when we can.... We walked 12 kms to a small village with a modern albergue with only a few beds in each room so maybe this will help....we left Burgos this morning and the sunrise shining on the cathedral was beautiful...we walked for about 10 kms to a place called Tarjados and had lunch and a nice break..... We walked the last 2 kms into this little village called Rabe de las Calzados....and checked into our albergue.... Still no sign of wifi so am itching to get these blogs uploaded but I think mom is happy I am not playing on my phone all the time!!! Shower time was fun... I left the door unlocked for my mom and this poor Korean guy opened the door and had the misfortune of seeing me in the buff..... He is likely traumatized for life!!! I am so digging this place and was right.... It was much needed!! Supper was amazing..... Chicken noodle soup... Mixed salad..... A Spanish omelette and yogurt for dessert! Well a bit of wine too.....we went for a stroll after supper and ready for bed!! A short day again tomorrow, we are enjoying the little villages and will catch up later.... No need to rush!!!

Marcus Wow Marty! It sounds like you are having an amazing time despite the unexpected twists. Whenever I read you blog I am always hungry at the end as your descriptions of the food make my mouth water. I can't wait to see your photos! Take care and don't forget to stop and smell the flowers but not the canola cause it smells like dirty sport socks ;)
