Thursday 10th September - Vanella Domus B&B

We got off the train and trundled our bags the length of the station, down the lift and out onto the street to find a coffee shop.
One was just across the road and 2 double espressos and 2 capuccinos and we were soon sitting on the sidewalk eating our croissants and drinking our coffee.

Once finished we said our goodbyes to J&P and reminissed that in March after Jannies birthday when we dropped them at Christchurch airport they said to us "See you in Venice"!
Now we trudged off the two blocks one way and then a right turn and 2 blocks and we arrived at Vanello Domus.

Jannie wasn't too happy that it was a B&B but I phoned Ion, pronounced John, and he was there in 2 minutes and showed us to our room and then spent the next 30 minutes giving us cards for this restaurant and cards for pizza and away he went twice. The first time he arrived back with a bottle of bubbly and the second time a huge bowl of fruit.
