Sunday 13th September - Last Day in Rome We got up and spoke to Nic & Mike and then Stu before packing our bags all ready to head to Marseilles later in the day. Our bags were going to be stored by the people from The B&B and we arranged for them to meet back with us at 1.30pm so we could pick up the bags ready for the transfer to the airport at 1.40pm. Saturday 12th September- We walked back to the end of the road leading up to the Vatican and looked back several times. We found a place off to the side from the main road to have lunch of bruschetta and salad and small beer and bloody expensive at €49.17. A far cry from our local near our apartment - thank goodness.
