We are settled back in Perth and today we took the train again to the city. We went and booked train tickets to Kalgoorlie for when we come back from our travels to the east.
We walked down to Barrack Street jetty and booked a river trip for Thursday.
It was cloudy but rather humid today so we walked around for a bit but it was too sweaty to go far!!
The Government Office building is set in beatiful grounds and the building itself looks very english. It reminded me of the Tower of London for some reason.
The children here went back to school this Monday and we have been collecting books and stationery from various stores. Over here the parents have to buy all their school equipment including text books, exercise books and all pens and pencils etc.
The sports facilities for kids appear to be very good as well. We have been to cricket matches, training sessions and basketball that the boys attend. There are also opportunities for the youngsters to train as referees for some of these games. We are off to another basketball match soon to watch Mick's nephew play.
