We set off at 8:45 this morning and drove to the hills. Behind Perth is the Darling Range. It is an escarpment formed millions of years ago by a fault and is made up of granodiorite rocks. The Lesmurdie Falls have been formed by erosion and are quite spectacular in winter. In summer however there is no water but still fairly spectacular to see. Up until today we have done very little during our time in Busselton except relax and visit friends of Maureen for dinner, afternoon tea or just drinks! Another touristy day! We took the train to Perth again, had a walk around and then went on a boat trip on the Swan River.
