The Champions League semi ended in tears for us. Liverpool lost to Chelsea - it leaves you feeling down. We packed up after the match and moved on.
The couple we met at Alligator Creek had recommended Toomulla Beach for a good free campsite. They were correct, however we chose only to stop for lunch - burgers and beer to numb the pain - and then continued on to the Paluma National Park.
We spent two nights in the park in two different campgrounds. The first Big Crystal Creek was near Little Crystal Creek which had been recommended to us. We went to Little in the morning for a swim and a look at the bridge built during the second World War. We then headed to Jourama Falls for the night and a walk to the falls. The were about 170m high and would be a mighty sight in the wet season.
