We spent 3 nights in Airlie Beach. The first night we had a few beers at one of the backpacker's, we drove the sites, including Shute Harbour and Cedar Creek Falls (they've got nothing on Finch Hatton Gorge) and we sat by the pool in the caravan park. We stayed at the park long enough to watch the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between Liverpool and Chelsea. So sad in the 94th minute, just seconds before the ref would have blown his whistle, Riise headed an own goal. Very devastating and now a tough second leg in London at 1-1.
