It was very strange crossing the border into Queensland - one second it was 9.20am the next it was 8.20am.Can't understand why Queensland doesn't have daylight savings - it's dark by 6pm and at 8am it's already really hot!

We had a swim to kill a bit of time before we went searching for a caravan park.The waves were so big and the current so strong you have to be careful.

We found a very nice Caravan Park called Tallebudgera along the mouth of the Tallebudgera River.The rain subsided enough for us to enjoy a walk along the river and coast before having a swim in the river pool outside the caravan park. We had dinner at the Burleigh Bowling Club.

Now onto Brisbane.
