Today we went to Milan. We caught the train in and walked through the square that I went through on the first WEP tour and we went to the top of a tower and could see pretty much the entire of Milan! Unfortunately there was lots of fog so the visibility wasn't perfect. It was very sunny though so it was good weather to go to the top of the tower! Then we walked through Milan lots and went to lots of different sights (I think we walked for about 6 hours!!). We had lunch at a little restaurant and I had a smoked salmon, green apple and cream cheese sandwich and it was so good!! We found this shop that was hidden by a half wall and lots of plants, Sara didn't know what the shop was so we decided to go into it and have a look around, the shop was very beautiful and there was also a little courtyard with a restaurant and sitting area. We looked at the shop and everything was really expensive. I looked at one of the tags on a show that I thought was a Valentino copy. It was actually a Valentino shoe so that would make sense of the expensive prices! There was also YSL and Alexander McQueen and Alaia. I had to quote clueless when Cher says 'this is an Alaia. Like a totally important designer!' And I thought I was very funny. Then we walked some more and caught the train back home. I was quite tired after today and I had a big headache when we got back so I had some chamomile tea and a rest on the lounge. The tea helped my headache lots!!
