What a day! I woke up early to get ready for school and I was so nervous! I was thinking 'what if they don't like me' 'what if I get lost' etc. But I caught the bus without a problem (Italian buses are the same as Australian buses. Always late) I met the tutor who had a meeting with me before I started school last Friday and she introduced me to another exchange student from Hong Kong, she isn't in my class though. I was taken to my class and straight away everyone was so lovely and welcoming. Today the school day went only from 11am until 1:11 so it was not a very long day (I only got to my class at 11:40 as well!) in Italy the teachers are the ones that move around and the students have one class for all the lessons. (So that will help me make friends I hope!). The classroom was so hot it wasn't funny and because of dress codes girls can't wear shorts (but boys can?) so I was dying with the heat (I need to buy a fan). Massimo picked me up and then we came home to have gnocchi (my favourite!!) for lunch (I had to have seconds oops). We dropped Stefano at the airport as he is going to New Zealand and after we said goodbye we had dinner at the airport. I am in Italy and I had a good old Aussie meal. Maccas.
