Had a kick back morning around the camp. It's nice to sit and have a bit of a relax. After lunch we put the bathers on loaded up the beach gear and set off to Oyster Bridge for the arvo.
We followed the Lynch's on the sandy tracks. We took a wrong turn into another gorgeous bay, but it was getting out of here that was proving a little difficult. The Brady's got out up over the dune in the first attempt but it was taking the Lynch's and us a few try's. Eventually we thought we're going to have to drop the types even more. Then Shaun realised that Gaz had read the tyre gauge wrong and instead of 20 psi we had 30 in our tyres. Dropped them to 18 and we got straight up and over.
Oyster Bridge was just beautiful. Lovely white sand and beautiful clear water. The kids loved riding their wave surfers in the water. We built some sandcastles, kids went looking for shells.
Sean was very excited that he had found a dinosaur tooth and asked for me to put it away for his next birthday.
The guys and Indi were enjoying eating the oysters off the rocks. The beers were also going down very well :)
Zane is loving the sand and the water. So lovely to see him enjoying it. We stripped him off in the nude to get a few pics before leaving. Very cute watching my little chubba crawling around in the sand with his little fat bum on the move.
It was a shame to see Caleb still sick and resting up.
After there it was showers and time to get ready for tea at the pub. We had a yummy seafood selection for tea which had yummy squid, battered fish, chilli prawns, and deep fried prawns in coconut. Kids had fun running around on the lawn with all the other kids. Was nice to have a good meal with great company and a few wines!
