So another trip to the Forbidden City and it was totally packed as it was a national holiday for tomb sweeping yesterday. Thats the same as us guys going to graves and putting flowers on them so I am led to believe.

The City has defo been painted since I went there last time. Advice to anyone coming to China do not go to the local attractions on a national holiday as everyone does whether it be to the zoo or to places of historical interest its the same all over the country.

Walked through the Forbidden City and decided to go into Jingshan Park as I never had the chance to do this last time. Lots of steps involved to get to the Buddha at the top and the fab view of the city, was well worth it. Managed to buy a fake rolex on the way up for a fiver and also take part in some local fancy dress that resembles something from one of the Dynasties out here, quite fun and impressive really.

Well yet another busy day in the city must be time to hit chengdu and see some pandas having a chomp on some bamboo.
