Well didnt have a great deal of time here today as we had to do immigration and coast guard drill. i really wanted to get over to the north shore again but it wasn't to be so had to head on over to waikiki instead which is very commercialised and quite disappointing as a beach goes to be honest with you.
the surf was pants, in-fact there is better surf down in devon than on that beach there. the strip itself is full off american shops and malls which is a shame as the otherside of the island is quite unspoilt in comparison.
although its been a bit of a disappointment, the place does make you feel happy on the inside though which may sound a little bizarre really.
i didnt find a surfboard though which was also a let down but didnt feel right buying something just because i could so decided to keep my money for san fran.
although its been a not so good day i would still come here for a holiday though.
