So have come down from the heights of altitude sickness and stopped of at lijiang for a spot of hiking at tiger leaping gorge. Bus journey down was interesting especially with altitude sickness on the go, this wasn't helped by the 2 toddlers that were sick in the bin a few times in 4 hours. I am not sure how I survived since I felt as rough as a badgers bottom to be fair not that I know what that feels like. On the plus side the trip down was amazing and the scenery awesome, the yangzhi and the mountains either side totally fantastic. Well worth a visit for sure.
So lijiang old town is the place to stay for certain, full of character, local food and just a nice atmosphere really. Cycled out to some black pool pond to get some pics of the mountains behind quite stunning really.
