Woke up when the alarm went off and had cereal in bed, we then headed to the shower block and sorted ourselves out, I then chucked my newly washed clothes in the tumble dryer as they were still damp and when they were done I chucked them in the back and we headed off to the Abel Tasman national park car park where we left Albert safe and sound and our skipper Tim picked us up, we then headed back towards KaiTeriTeri and got onto our sailing boat, it was quite small but really nice, perfect conditions too, sun was out, little bit of wind to power the boat and flat seas! We had a couple hours sailing checking out various islands and other decent land marks, we even managed to see a little penguin cruising about! After a couple hour sail we got dropped off at one end of the Abel Tasman walk and this is where we had lunch which was provided in our trip, we smashed that and then started the walk, within about 30 mins we had to re-dress Sarah's bandages and then we nipped off the path to a view point which was incredible, about half way through the walk we sat down for a snack and then around the evening we arrived back at the car park and found Albert where we left him, we got back in and drove towards Nelson where we stayed in another DOC campsite and met some cool people, Jess, Charlie and Tom from Derby and Merlin who was from Hull but lived in NZ since he was little, we all got on really well and the Derby guys gave us jacket potatoes and Merlin provided BBQ cooked stingray which he caught by day, both were a welcome treat over pasta! We then sat round chatting by torch light till late until one by one we went to bed and called it a night
