We left Blackdown Tablelands NP this morning headed for Rockhampton to do some shopping and fix the air con. $500 later I was not real happy about the "slip of the knife" that caused it days earlier. We then headed to Adam's house out on the coast. He cooked us a roast dinner and we were able to do some washing and have a decent hot shower.

This morning we did 1.2km each way walk to Officer's Pocket. The walk was nice with a good lookout at the end. I have been surprised by the lack of wildlife and people around. We did the Nature Trail Walk which was nice enough but nothing great before packing up and heading to Blackdown Tableland NP. We planned to pick up a few items at Blackwater and discovered how hard bread is to get on a Sunday. Woolworths was closed as expected but after 3 servos we still had no bread. The boys were great today, especially Zach. We went on two bushwalks and Zach walked the whole way and did not complain once. He was having a great time and was proud to be the leader. He did a really good job of stepping over all the stones to cross the creeks and climb over big boulders because they were all very uneven. We drove from Injune to Takarakka Bush Resort at Carnarvon Gorge. Our first paid camping but it is the only option around to Carnarvon NP and it is a really nice camp ground. We went on a short walk to the Rock Pools today. It is a nice spot but didn't see any turtles or platypuses that are in the area.
