Today began at Old Parliament House which is also now called Museum of Democracy. We spent an hour here and that was without reading a lot of things. Our day began at Questacon and straight away I was a bit annoyed at the parking system. It is paid parking which I guess is expected in a capital city but the trouble is trying to guess how long you will need. Not knowing how big or how good the place is it could be 1 hour or 5 hours. We have a busy next 3 days in Canberra with lots to see and do. We started at the Mint. Only coins are produced here and the notes are printed in Melbourne. I was surprised to find out they also produce coins for many other countries including Thailand, Fiji, Malaysia and Tonga. It is quite a small area where the coin process is completed in which we were able to view. The robots do a large amount of work and are programmed to work independently. Each container h...

We drove through Kangaroo Valley with no problem towing the camper which we were uncertain how it would go. We stopped at Fitzroy Falls and did a short walk which had some nice lookouts before settling in at our new camp in Canberra.
