Today we saw a monkey! Vincent spotted it out the back of the resort and came running to housekeeping to get me. When I went out it was swinging in a tree just over where the boys shack is. It was huge and orangey brown with a black face. It didn't stay long and I didn't have my camera but it is still cool to have monkeys in your back garden.Demolish the barThis evening we agreed to go to St Anthony's with the boys. It was karaoke night and Michael was very excited to show off his singing talent in front of an older English couple who were planning on opening a karaoke bar and letting him run it. After a while I was so pressured I sang 'dream a little dream of me' with him. We discovered that the guys from our hotel were there so at the end of the night tired to arrange to get a taxi with them. The only problem was there were no taxis. We put Michael on the back of Jonny the waiter's moped and he said he'd call a taxi over when he saw one and tell them where we were. We chatted for a while to an English couple from Dubai and after about half an hour decided to find out what happened to Jonny. One of the other waiters said he was sleeping so we started to walk home, not the best plan in my fabulous shoes so I went bare foot. Luckily after what seemed like miles, but was actually not that far, we found a taxi and all five of us piled in. We got home safe but very late, not looking forward to working tomorrow.
