Singapore Zoo was wonderful. It was much more of a conservation park than a zoo and all the signs for the animals stated that they were just suggestions as most of the animals were actually free to roam around the zoo as they wished, I guess they were well fed enough to come back to their areas for food and not eat each other. Today we spent the day looking around Singapore, not very interesting, and booking our night safari for this evening. Today I wanted to go to the butterfly farm. We thought we’d try and walk to the bus stop then get the bus up the hill to where the butterfly farm was located. In the end it wasn’t too far so with a couple of rest stops and coca colas we walked the whole way. It was really odd to go into a butterfly farm that was just covered with net, it is so hot and humid in Malaysia that it doesn’t need to be enclosed and artificially heated, they just have lots of water...

After a shower this morning we felt pretty good considering our half night on the bus and half in the hotel. So we set about finding out what there was in Kuala Lumpur. Basically the main thing seemed to be the Petronus towers, the twin towers that are connected by a sky bridge that used to be the tallest in the world. We decided to go once in the day and try to go on the sky bridge then once in the night to see them lit up. In the day they were pretty impressive...

This morning we left at 6am for bus terminal. It was so early they didn’t have any breakfast ready for us which was a bit pants, but they did drive us there in a big comfy car.
