Day off. Phew. We wanted to use our days off to do things such as sightseeing etc but I don't usually work 6 day weeks or even 8 hour days so we decided to stay in the hotel. The guests had mostly gone off on tours so it wasn't busy. As we have a pool it would be mad not to use it so we went swimming. This time instead of it being just us, we made friends with a lady from Chennai in South India and her two kids Natasha and Travis so took the kids swimming while she stayed on the side. Indian women don't much like swimming as there culture still requires them to cover up and swimming in a T-shirt and knee length shorts just isn't fun. Luckily in Goa westerners are common so I was OK to swim in my bikini and I'm also OK to wear vest tops around town. In the pool we played piggy in the middle but, due to there dislike of pigs I suppose, they called it monkey in the middle. It was god fun and we got chatting to the lady loads as her English was very good. Both her and her husband were offering us jobs and accommodation in Chennai if we ever went there, but sadly I don't think we will have time.
